Hello, again, World

Welcome to the new CrumpSpace site! After running my personal sites with WordPress for well over a decade, I've decided to finally move to something a bit simpler and faster.

I had been growing tired of dealing with plugins, updates, caching, performance tweaking, backups, login attempts by bots, and everything else that goes along with running a WordPress site. I really didn't need much; just a place to drop some project updates, occasional wild thoughts, some of my random tools and other content.

The site is built with Eleventy and uses semantic HTML where feasible. I had tried a couple of other static site generators in the past, but for whatever reason, 11ty seemed to stick out to me as particularly simple and flexible.
